Yeah, with 95 and 98 you can just click Cancel. The only exceptions would be a password set in the BIOS(can be reset by clearing the CMOS, usually via a jumper on the mobo), or if her account was on a network server(Server admin would have to reset, then).
There really isn't any point in using a password with Win98. If she wants to prevent other people from using her computer she should use a BIOS password at bootup. |
