I have a FIC 31 mobo that according to the clerk at compusa can take 2100 which I have now or 2700. Clerk tells me there will be no performance difference between the two, is this correct? Asking cause the 2700 mem is cheaper and if I can get some boost in mem power all the better, also the mem I have is Centon I guess the cheap stuff and the 2700 is PNY is that brand just as low quality or should I take a chance and buy something like Kingston or Crucial through a mail order site, I live in Hawaii and returning something costs a lot more than on the "continent". Any comments or recommendation on a better brand is welcome.
