I am guessing you just want to use a standard IDE connection, and not RAID if you have just the one hard drive. That motherboard has a total of 4 IDE connectors, 2 for RAID only. Make sure you are connected to the correct one, most likely the standard IDE ones up on the right edge of the board.
Unless you get a matched hard drive for your existing one, your only 'RAID' option would be JBOD (if the controller on the motherboard supported it). |
Not to mention you'll get no performance gain from running in JBOD.
