I have to have a Heart "procedure" done, I prefer NOT to call it surgery...LOL The electricity in my heart is screwed up. Some people have a lack of electricity in their hearts, adn they have to have a pacemaker put in. My problem is the opposite, I have too much electricity in my heart. On a daily basis my heart rate will spike to 327 beat a minutes. It usually last anywhere from 5-20 minutes, and happens anywhere from 4- 9 times a day. Right now they have me on Toprol, which is a high blood pressure medication( I don't have high blood pressure , mine is actually the lowest side of normal) this medication helps the electrical problem in my heart but doesn't solve it. Now my heart only races at about 200-220 beats per minutes when I am having a spell. So what they have to do is go in through the arteries in my legs and into my heart. Find out all the nodes that are causing "extra" electricity and burn them all off. With this they hope and pray they don't get too close to my main node, or they will have to put the pacemaker in instantly.. Worst case scenario like with most surgery's is death... LOL
