I've upgraded roughly 100+ laptops at my work. These were IBM and Dell laptops. Unfortunately I experienced a lot of memory incompatibility issues.
Memory that would work in a IBM T21 would not work in a IBM T22. Worse yet, even within the sub-models sometimes it wouldn't work.
You do have to be careful with laptop memory. |
