i knew their was something like that 4 sp2 b\c u do the same w/ sp1, i never looked 4 it before(thx 4 link). i just installed sp2 for the first time about 2 weeks ago (on a fresh clean install).

as for how much space for the windows install, right after the install windows xp takes up about 3gigs, lets assume u have a 1gig paging file, so thats 4gigs. i usally give it about 10 gigs and do some clean up when i get 2-3gigs remaining.

the bad thing about installing ur apps on another partion is that when u do reinstall windows some programs will not work b\c they are missing some registry keys.
