The RAID was onboard or a PCI card? You may be hosed is it was onboard, and you wind up moving to a different RAID controller (or no RAID at all). That said, I did move a RAID 0 array from a Silicon Image controller to a Promise controller with no problem...
I would recommend backing up all the important stuff, as it may be hit or miss.
Or, keep the same RAID config by keeping the PCI card (if that was the case), or by getting a board with the same RAID controller onboard. |
