ASUS boards need you to hit "DEL" to enter bios. Make sure you are using a standard PS/2 keyboard. I think the BIOS defaults to no USB keyboard support.
You will need to use the F6 key when windows first shows its head from the CD. It will say something like hit F6 to add SCSI drivers.
Make sure you have the floppy with SATA drivers for that board handy. Halfway through loading the first goodies, WIN will pause and allow you to load the SATA drivers.
If you knew all this and still have issues, lettuce know.
Some newest boards also need some things enabled in bios to see SATA drives. |
