I found this both funny and scary as it is so close to the truth....
A Republican and a Democrat were walking down the street and came across a homeless person. The Republican feeling compassion for this individual gave him his business card and told him to come to his business for a job. He then took $20 out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person, to help him until he could start work.
The Democrat was impressed by this and soon they came across another homeless person. The Democrat decided to help. He walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office. He then reached down into the Republican's pocket and pulled out a $20 bill. He kept $15 for administrative fees and gave the homeless person $5 to help him until he could receive his welfare check. |
