Anybody have experience with the new ATI AIW cards? Have a friend that's looking to get a card capable of capture, and is also planning to upgrade his ATI 9200. So figured maybe he could get an AIW to do it all for him vs buying a separate encoder.
How is the quality on the AIW?
Also, what kind of performance increase would he see going from a Radeon 9200 to Radeon 9600 or 9800? Or is the X600 series better? He doesn't want to pay for the X800's, as he only wants to spend around $300 - $400 |
