I dropped AT&T because of a few reasons... they didn't let you keep your landline phone number, which Vonage does... the price from AT&T is higher per month than I paid for a standard landline from Verizon... and the quality of service wasn't quite good enough, most likely because they were just coming out of beta testing at that time.
Hopefully service has gotten better, but as far as I know, price and the phone number option has not. Vonage wins there, as they will keep your current number when you sign up, and they have a plan for $24.99 that is just a bit better than my current Verizon plan. |
