Well... The SI 680 card I was using was annoying... Always dropping a drive and lowering drives from UDMA6 to UDMA5... The two Maxtors I had die recently were both on this controller, too...
So, when the array died all together last night, I just ripped it out for a Promise card and went ahead an reformatted and went to 0+1
