I sugest a Nforce2 board like the previous post suggested. They are great inexspensive boards that have great onboard stuff and run well. Just my 2 cents. Then I would get a good XP processor and leave it alone. No overclocking. Just because what happens if your parents leave it on and it has a heat issue? YOU may know what to do but I'm guessing they won't since they asked you to upgrade it for you. Also you'll save money you could put into ram or a case instead of a bigger powersupply and fan and heat sink. Just my 2 censt and MHO thanks.
