OK, as most of you know (if you don't know.... I'm going to do something evil to you.... no not that... not that either... no... look just trust me... it will be evil!) I recently moved to Colorado.
Since being here, even though it's cooler, my computer seems to be running hotter... and today I started having some lock ups and other issues. I slipped the side off the case, and down clocked my video card, and it seems better (and louder) now.
Here's my question... do you think it's possible that going from just above sea level, to almost a mile high has made that much of a difference because of the thinner air??? I will be moving the computer to a new case soon (yes BB... that case), and downstairs to the basement (much cooler down there) as I will be getting a "new" desk. (Old one was OLD and fell apart when I was trying to move it.... )
Theories? Ideas?? Or any comments?? |
