I agree with what dotitab398 said. The Biostar A68N-5000 can actually handle lighter games like Dota 2 and League of Legends if you keep expectations reasonable.
The onboard AMD A4-5000 with the Radeon HD 8330 iGPU is low-power, but MOBAs are pretty well optimized. Most people I’ve seen using similar Kabini APUs run those games around 720p–900p on low/medium settings and still get playable frame rates.
A couple small tips if you build a mini system around it:
Use dual-channel RAM if possible (APUs benefit a lot from memory bandwidth)
An SSD helps overall responsiveness a lot on these low-power systems
Keep a small fan in the case since mini-ITX builds can trap heat
For a tiny portable setup or weekend PC, it’s actually a fun little board. Just don’t expect modern AAA games to run well. For older titles, indie games, and MOBAs though, it should do the job _________________ free online games |
