A BUNCH OF NVIDIOTS are petitioning the graphics chipmaker to have it reverse its decision to drop its "audio processing unit" (APU), claiming its decision is a whimpish one.
Petitioners are "shocked" to learn that "the APU had been dropped because the motherboard manufacturers didn’t see it as necessary, and that NVIDIA complied instead of trying to make a new APU with better features."
"If Nvidia had done this in the early days of their graphics solutions," the petitioners claim,"they would not be where they are today."
The petition, organised by guys at nforcershq is here at http://www.petitiononline.com/NVAPU/.
