The general design of the mouse is definitely suited for palm grip users and can be used by people with a fingertip grip, although some buttons would be out of reach. I feel like claw grip users would have a hard time with the shape of the mouse, so I cannot recommend it for them. Other things to keep in mind are that the XM300 is designed for right handed users with buttons specifically located for right handed users, sorry lefties. hitechlegion.com
