wouldn;t say its true in canada, well toronto to be more specific.
At no frills (grocery store) where i work we get bread every day of the week but not on wednesdays. As far as color tags go. they dont really have a set color for each day it varies week by week.
But then again we chek bread everyday if it is going to expire within 3 days it goes on the reduce table.
Here's another thing you may wanna know, alot of the bakery items you find in store shelves. Actaully come into the store as frozen products. The store puts out what it needs and has a book which tells them how long to keep it on the shelf, so then we just date it, and the product just thaws out on the shelf
of course that doesnt include stores who have their own bakeries in house _________________ I'm Back to Haunt BB > |
