Cooler Master
Several new cases to watch out for, power supplies and some newly designed all in one water cooling solutions; these are 100% Cooler Master designed, not using other cooling plates. They will be released in Germany first, then the US. Pretty standard affair, three sizes, small, medium, and large.
New Mechanical keyboards abound. One is a "Stealth" keyboard, where the letters are printed on the bottom of the key, not on the top portion. Kinda hard to explain, but when you look at the keyboard from the top all you see is black. Really cool looking and fine for touch typists Of course, using Cherry switches so they'll be pretty sturdy. They also have a "Green" switch that only Cooler Master carries. Look for these new keyboards end of first quarter.
For modders, they are looking at developing a line of Keyboard, Mice and Headphones with removable steel plates that can be customized with logo's, graphics, words, etc. Pretty cool looking, even if it just has the CM Storm logo's.
And just like everybody, they are begining to look at Mobile stuff. Tablet holders will be pretty common amongst manufacturers.
Wide range of laptop coolers, universal laptop power supplies.
Adata
A company we haven't heard much from recently, never the less, they are growing, and expanding their impressing lineup.
mSATA - Going up to 384Gb, Sequential R/W of 550/505MB/s
SSD's, expanding with the SX910, pretty standard specs.
New entry into the mobile market with a wireless usb/media reader that can double as a phone charger, with a 5,000 mAh battery should give close to 2 full charges. Expected to be available February. Compatible with Android, IOS, Linux and of course Windows.
In addition, a hard drive version with 500Gb to connect up to 8 clients, or via USB 3. Similar specs as smaller media card reader, just without the reader and an integrated hard drive.
New ultra small form SSD, NGFF format. This is what ultrabooks, and tablets are expected to start using. It's a bit smaller than mSATA and currently goes up to 64Gb.
UHS-I SD and MicroSD cards. These are the ultra fast SD cards for 3D and Full HD streaming devices.
USB 3.0 Flash Drives are being expanded with the UE700 with an aluminum case and a retractable USB connection; 16Gb, 32Gb and 64Gb models. They are looking at getting Windows To Go certification, but that will take some time.
Update to their gaming line of DDR3 chips; 2600G 11-13-13-35 latency; 8Gb chips; 2oz double copper PCB with a large heatsink.
Super Talent
Updating their Windows To Go flash drive lineup with the RC8. 270/220Mb/s Read/Write.
NZXT
Small suite showing only stuff that was announced at CES, nothing that has previously been announced.
Update to Phantom with the 630. Shorter but wider than previous models. Providing more room to allow cable management. Allows up to 10 fans, and includes a 10 fan - fan controller with slow, medium and high speed settings. Two removable 2.5" SSD trays on back side of motherboard tray. Large CPU backplate cutout. Full customization of 3.5" hard drive chassis, can use all three or none. 3 5.25" drive bays. Dual Large radiator compatibility in front of the 3.5" drive chassis, or at the top of the case. Single radiator compatibility if you remove the bottom 3.5" drive chassis support tray. Tool-less 5.25" drive bays are full steel clips, no plastic clips. Available in Black or White.
Mathing Hale90 V2 power supply 850W, 1000W and 1200W. Fully modular and uses a new system to check the voltage instead of right at the power supply, it will monitor the voltage all the way to the end of the 24 pin cable.
Monoprice Update
They have their 27" IPS monitor available now, max res of 2560x1440. Problem is supply. Next shipment is expected early March, in reality they expect it sooner. If interested, you should get on their pre-order list. It is $390. Instead of the common 3 - 5 dead pixel policy, they have a 1 dead pixel policy.
OCZ
Not much here, update to their PCI-Express Vector 2 card. Had on display their current line-up of SSD's
Zalman
C.I. Water Cooler has heat pipes, making it look a lot like a large heatsink. Think of it like a CPU heasink but instead of the base plate attaching to the heat pipes, the water tubes connect to do the cooling. Water plate and fan has blue LED's. This is a CES Innovation 2013 award winner.
Fanless Cooler is another CES Innovation 2013 winner. It is a very large fanless cooler, but if you want to, you can install 120mm or 140mm fan. It is designed to work with most tall RAM heatsinks.
MS800 is a new mid-tower case will include an easy to clean front intake fan filter. Comes out like many drive bay covers with clips on the exterior and snaps back into place. Dual USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, integrated fan controller. Fan behind the 3.5" drive chassis rather than in front of it.
Horizon Fuel Cell
New portable charging technology implements Fuel Cell. Little hydrogen fuel cells are available, one comes in the kit with the cell phone charger. You also need the Fuel Cell filling station though. Expect to pay around $400 for the complete kit. Kinda expensive right now, but eventually it'll come down. If the technology takes off.
P3 International
Makers of the famous Kill-A-Watt have many products. One of their new ones is a laptop security system. Loop the cord around a heavy object, and plus the USB into the laptop, secure it with a little key fob. If the USB is disconnected a loud alarm sounds.
Misc.
Probably the biggest new things were the large number of "high" end headphone manufacturers, cell phone chargers and cell phone case manufacturers. Literally everybody seems to be getting into the portable cell phone charging business.
