AURAVISION TO OPEN PATENTED ELUMINX TECHNOLOGY STANDARD FOR OEM LICENSING AGREEMENTS

Auravision Announces First OEM License

(LOS ANGELES, E3, Booth #6556 Kentia)—Auravision LLC, a pioneer computer peripheral developer and leader in EL development for mission critical applications, today announces the opening up of its patented EluminX™ technology standard through manufacturing and licensing agreements to OEMs worldwide.

Its first OEM relationship is with Itronix, leading manufacturer of ruggedized laptops, for a wide range of industrial applications worldwide. Itronix is currently deploying its innovative Go Book Max™ for the US Military in Iraq and Auravision has recently taken over the management of the worldwide licensing rights from inventor, Twenty First Century Technologies, Inc. Additional OEM relationships are in the works and will be announced within the next few months.

Auravision’s EluminX technology is fast becoming the de-facto standard for high quality keyboard and input device illumination. With the recent introduction of its long life EluminX lamps, Auravision now offers the only two-year warranty on ElectroLuminescent lamps for use in computer keyboards and other data entry devices. Auravision employs a (Perfect-Match) high tolerant IC for brightness and extended life along with encapsulated phosphorus ink for true color control in combined use with its EluminX lamps.

Auravision pioneered the world’s first commercial illuminated keyboard last October with the introduction of the EluminX™ brand. It quickly gained worldwide exposure and acceptance with the media, consumers, distributors, resellers and OEMs and earned a global reputation for high quality illumination in computer and consumer electronic products. The unprecedented demand for this unique product has allowed the Auravision manufacturing division in Asia to ramp up production, gaining new cost efficiencies that will allow a reduction in the price of the keyboard and other input devices while enhancing quality standards. New pricing will begin to emerge by end of June.

“Auravision is pleased to make the EluminX technology available to quality OEM partners that understand the importance of providing innovative product enhancements and value to their consumers worldwide,” notes Jeff Walden, Chairman and CEO of

Auravision LLC. “There are dozens of applications in which the EluminX bottom-lit lamps can perform and we’re glad to make that a possibility.”

The innovative design of the Auravision illuminated keyboard relies on the patent from Twenty First Century Technologies Inc. who has granted exclusive rights to Auravision for the worldwide manufacturing, sale, licensing and distribution of all products under this patent. This technology was first used in ruggedized laptops by the US Military and FBI.

“I’m pleased to see the exciting progress of Auravision utilizing our patent rights,” notes Andy Katrinecz, co-inventor. “Auravision has an incredible depth of talent and experience and we’re excited to see what it is able to come up with next in terms of illuminated products for the consumer.”
