I have had the exact same thing happen, actually it still happens!!! Sometimes things just don't lay down right, and I have to pull off the sink, clean everything with ISo alcohol, reapply a TINY bit of AS and reinstall.
It takes very little, I usually get half a BB sized blob on end of syringe, stick it to the center of die, and then smear it around the die with a finger covered in saran wrap. Some if not most of the amount I put on comes right back off on the saran wrap. Paper thin is actually very close to being right. Remember, the better the surface of the sink, the less AS is needed also.
Pull it off and try these hints above. Let us know if it helps temps.
