okay, i did not know a thing about the curing, but that i researched it... AS5 takes only a few days of run time to cure. i have had it for about 5 days now and temp is still higher than prior to lapping. tomorrow i am going to take off cooler and inspect amount of paste, maybe scarpe some off, then carefully re-install, and make sure it lays on properly. Now if that doesnt fix my problem, i will forgett about the $40 bucks wasted on the cpu cooler, sand paper, paste, and go with a watercooling setup.
