Well, - I ended up upgrading to Intel 2600K, 8 GB 1600MHz memory and an MSI P67a-GD65 motherboard.
Quite an upgrade to my q6600.

I was also thinking about using the Y connectors, but I didn’t have any. Another way of doing it was like Thermal take wrote by using another radiator between the GPU and CPU.

I guess you are right. I was thinking about doing some extra cooling. I can watercool it, but need some extra gear to do it.
