check the cooling i.e., the heatsing / fan on that thing - also the power supply - if both are okay try removing the RAM sticks one by one |

both of them are pretty much even (3Dmark2001 ~ 13600 w/ GF6800GS) at stock, in my experience. I dumped a 165 for the 805D
they may be even performance-wise but you still get better temps on the op ... |

What everyone here has said. One other thing to add into this, is to create a new OS CD with XP SP2 and all of the hotfixes slitstreamed into the installables.
