Yeah it's been a while since 3.5.7 was released, and even then the jumps between 3.5 versions haven't really been much.
KDE 4 does look very promising though. More eyecandy using fewer resources : ... |

I've never liked Gnome/GTK at all. It's too ugly and lacks the ability to customize. KDE is just better if you want a certain usability from your DE. I'd love it if the Linux community in general star ... |

Cooling the chipset as well is not feasible with a single 12v DC pump (though 2 won't help much either, a whole other loop would be needed). The whole loop will have it's hands full with just the quad ... |

The way to to it and keep it clean is to solder them together then use heatshrink tubing over the solder points. You can pick up some at Radioshack for pretty cheap and just heat it with a lighter. |

Easiest solution would just be to cut them and solder/tape/heatsrhink pieces of wire to reconnect them and make them longer. |
