The Omen starts today. Anyone plainning on watching it?

I heard that its just like the old one from 77 which i find to be alittle dissipointing I was hoping that they would have new sences or differnt story line. But it still may be worth watching.

I may go.

I'm planning on seeing it, I will watch almost any horror film (even saw See No Evil - which I can't really recommend).

I don't really expect great things from it, just from what I've been hearing it's pretty much a remake of the original, scene for scene. And the performances are pretty weak.

But I think I'll still enjoy myself. Figure as long as it's entertaining, that's all I care about. I'll even try NOT to do comparisons to the original, want it to stand on it's own merit. If it can do that, I'll be happy with it.

Horror movies have never interested me as I am really easily freaked out. Heheh Laughing

Well there hasn't been many people that have rated the film over at Imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0466909/) but a user has written a review of the movie and he calls it "Slick but inevitably inferior remake". I'm guessing that this movie isn't too god. It might be a fun thing to watch the movie with your friends, but I say wait for it to come out on video. Renting is so much cheaper than going to the theatres Rolling Eyes

I've seen it all at this point in time, the only horror movie that would really scare me at this point is a Dr.EC strip tease.
