Retaining Clips on CPU Cooler Broke!

LOL Ok, so my wife got a new laptop and she no longer wants her desktop (AMD XP 1700 DUT3C). Originally built the box when the 1700's were the top cpu. Went to clean it out, and see if anythign was worth salvaging, and when I pushed on the cpu cooler retaining clip, it snapped off! LOL Ok, so it's been on there a LONG time, but wow never had one snap like that!

Just thought it was funny...now to figure out a use for that cpu and mb!

Does the mobo have the 4 holes in it for the screw on type heat sinks? I am still using an old Alpha 8045 that screws to the mobo rather than clip to the socket and it works great. Just an idea.

Yea, think it does, some small ones near it. Won't be rebuilding it though, too many around the house already...
