I need to find a sheetfed scanner for use in a small business. Doesn't need to have the highest capacity, but something better than those simple little strip style sheetfed scanners.
Would like it to be USB, have decent OCR software with it, as well as the ability to scan straight to PDF (my HP multifunction does that, and they like the idea).
Not sure of the budget, but quality and reliability are pretty important, and it could go up to a few hundred.
HP 5590? http://bigbruin.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=3339132/sort_type=bottomline
HP 5550c? http://bigbruin.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=683305/sort_type=bottomline
They don't need a printer, but maybe a good deal on a multifunction device would be worthwhile anyway... Like the HP 6210... link
Looking for any good/bad experiences with things in this field.
Thanks!

I won't even suggest scanning over the network to them, but are there other "sucky" aspects of that one?
They will have a local machine for scanning, as one person does most of it anyway.
