...to redo the seat covers on my jet skis...

The first staple the thing ever fired went straight intothe side of my pinky finger.

The safety device or lock is stupid (as is the owner).

I had 1/2" Monel (Stainless steel of sorts) staples loaded in it.

The staple didn't quite go all the way in, because it hit the bone... only about 1/8" of the staple was left hanging out... It grazed the bone, deflected and then stopped.

Asylum showed up about 5 minutes after this and has not stopped laughing since...

Wow, I think both of us would have taken a staple to the pinkie over that!!!!!!!

This thread is based on stupidity, not so much necessary things... I truly couldn't believe I did this to myself!!!

I would love to hear some of the stories of things folks have done or had friends do that injured themselves!!!

Tried to open a paint can with a chisel. Chisels are very sharp, and when they slip, they go in deep. In fact, almost all the way through my hand (luckily, didn't case any permament damage except for a small scar). So kids, remember to use ascrewdriver, not a chisel to open paint tins.

Well... early last year when I was mak'n dinner.. I was chopping some garlic. I keep my knives SHARP (cause it cuts down on accidents, and makes life easier... however when you do have an accident...), and I cut most of one of my finger nails off.
