whats the longest you have gone with out a computer problem

it could be hardware or software related
(other then if a brand new store bought rig .were everything came preloaded .)

what is the longest time before you got a error message -or had a program go do a odd thing ,part break , Yikes

also whats the worst mistake you ever done to your computer system -that cost you money or lots of time to repair .

for me i got pissed off at a unit i build with a soyo dragon motherboard .and i grab the unit off the floor all wires attached and hot.and pulled it till i could not stretch the printer cable any more.and then tossed it to the ground !

fixed the mother board problem Sad

needed a new case ,motherboard ,video card when it was all . over . getting crazy on a compter is not a good thing anytime ! Bang Head

Hum pretty hard to say. My first install of Win XP lasted for a little over 3 yrs before I had to do the format/reinstall thing. I am sure I had some minor issues mostly with other apps during that time but nothing major.

thats how I fix problems... I break them the rest of the way so I have to buy a new unit/whatever..

Most of my problems are self induced from tinkering or overclocking.. been close to a year since my last hardware failure.

We had our webserver up for 192 days; Never once had a problem - The only reason we took it down is we replaced the entire box.

ppftt oooo please. The only problem PC in the house is either your laptop, or your cousins computer. My systems run 24/7.

Remember all the problems I had with my computer.... in fact I think the first day you were at my apartment my hard drive crashed!!

i ahev gone about 2 hours before somthing broke...my pc is held together with digital duct tape.

My server in the basement has been running for 1.29 yrs with only the occassional restart every 1.53 months or so. It still runs like a champ w/o any failures.

Go figure - Its a noname PSU and the cheapest NF2 board I could get off newegg. LOL.
