Yea, gonna give the wife the boot and drop some cash on new gear Grin

Actually depending on income tax return she's given me the "go ahead" to buy new gear, up to around $700 - $800. But won't get TWO video cards right away. Will get Proc, MB, 1 Video Card, hopefully not go over my "budget" lol

So either going to use the P4 2.8 775 chip I have laying around, or buy another AMD 64 system, but go 939 this time.

Pisses me off I that a month after I bought my AMD 64 754, they came out with 939 Sad

I've been very slow to jump on the A64 bandwagon becasue...

1) My system still does what I need (Dual MP 2000)
2) I'm waiting for M$ to release their 64bit Desktop OS... and others to follow thorugh with 64bit app's.

Until then... I'm sticking with my MP system. I'm probably getting a "new" board here soon for it and might upgrade the CPU's to the Barton MP 2800's... but we'll see.

Well if it wasn't for wanting to go PCI-Express and SLI eventually, I wouldn't be worried about getting a new system either. Mainly it's the graphics power I need now, want to push EQ2 graphics up from low to HIGH Grin hehehehehe

I'm running Windows 64 at home and love it! It's great!

Too bad don't have many 64bit programs to take full advantage of it Razz

Just got a new version of Longhorn 64 I'm going to play with over the holidays Grin
