EA pushed out an interesting twist on RTS games when they launched Battleforge recently. I decided to give it a try (especially since the game is free) and must admit this is a fun game. I think of it like a Star Craft or Warcraft but without the need to build up a city (with the exception of defensive towers). If you feel like something new you can download Battleforge HERE.

I had fun with the beta a few months back, hows the full game holding up? Personally been addicted to Dungeons and Dragons Online, which also went free to play just recently.

I haven't played vs another person yet, just doing the single player story line and so far having a good time. EA seems to be pushing "free games" pretty hard. Battleforge just like Battlefield Heroes is a free game with the option to pay for extras. In Battleforge you can purchase upgrades and add ons to your "deck" and in Battlefield Heroes you can snag different equipment and outfits.
