Not sure where to post this as it could be hardware or software. I am getting a stop error of 0x00000024 constantly with a reboot. Now to eliminate a couple of suggestions you might have, this is the 5th HDD I have installed my OS on, Windows XP Home, and have reinstalled it a couple of times for each drive. I have checked for Virus's and worms, malware, etc. Everything is clean, I have run chkdsk /f /r and it comes up clean.    [i]

Check out my first post. I have done all of those things in your link that I can do and it still is there, It has only happened once today though, funny. I am wondering if I do have a corrupted OS disk though. |

If your still having problems, try running on just 1 stick (so 1GB of RAM) and if it happens again, change that stick.
Also could try removing all your hardware (including CPU) and reseating it .

I do have some fans running a bit slow, but the temps are good, system in the high 20s and cpu in the low 30s. Not sure where I can get a new fan for the MB, as ABIT does not have a home page anymore and the board is 5 years old. It is a small fan. I will check out removing the ram like you suggest though. |
