I guess they are trying not to make a big deal about it because they don't want people to wait to buy Vista, but supposedly most tasks are going to see a 25-50% increase in speed, especially on 64-bit versions.
What are your guys thoughts? And let's please not turn this into another "Vista sucks" post! |

The stability and reliability are the major factors here; I've used the Business version for close to 6 months on a prebuilt system and it still has issues with hardware and software stability. I'm hoping SP1 will address these issues properly. _________________

I've been using Vista for a long time now and it has no serious issues. It definately has minor issues though.
1. File transfer is an embarressment. Even small files take a long time.
2. Sound Card drivers for older cards do not have hardware acceleration.
3. Some bios features that work under XP do not work under vista, like nvidia network bridging.
Other than those 3 issues I have had no other problems. Usually clicking the icon and choose "run as administrator" gets any program to work. _________________ Turnipofpower.com - The Social Networking Side Dish |
