The whole town is kinda uppity, and I would have never expected something like this here!

Yikes

Funny part... Middle of the night, maybe 3 AM... I wake up and can't figure out what the noise was. Sounded like a helicopter, but knew that couldn't be it so I checked if my fan was ok... if the alarm clock was ok, heaters, etc... Laughing - I was so dazed I didn't know what was going on... And it turned out it was a helicopter.

It can happen anywhere, true... watching the news tonight I am under the impression these people were not students in Madison, as the other campus is a bit 'different', and they may not have been students at all...

Yeah it can happen anywhere. even in "uppity" schools. One thing you have to remember is that hard criminals are not stupid, and most can get full scholarships to any school they choose. Antisocial's and schizophrenic's usually have above average and some genius IQ's. Thats is what scares me!!!! The colleges you once thought were safe to send your child are sometimes, they colleges these "sicko's" prey on now. Guess they like to make a statement and prove a point.

Yeah, sad thing is that it was none of the students at the Madison campus that caused this... The other campus in Teaneck is far more 'urban', and for some reason an event from that campus had a post party at the Madison campus and brought their element with them.

They had the Madison campus locked down with guards armed with machine guns for a good part of the day... Just sucks for the Madison students / residents as this shouldn't have been here. If it happened in Teaneck it would have been just as bad, but perhaps way less of a surprise...

Isn't that pretty close to an oxymoron? Grin
