Given the chance to play in a professional environment, I was quite impressed with the Samson C01U USB studio condenser microphone. As a desktop microphone, it is definitely overkill – like using a Peterbilt to go grocery shopping. But give it more demanding tasks, such as audio reproduction, broadcasting, and such, the true power of the C01U can shine through.
