Say, I recently helped a friend build a new computer, and he has this case. His Temp gauge is not working correctly and after some questioning I found that he had stuck the temp sensor between the heatsink and CPU.
Now, I have taken it out and reseated the heatsink, but the gauge gives a warning beep at startup and reads max temp. Everything else is working as intended, and this is the last problem in an otherwise flawless setup. Is this gauge shot or can this be fixed? I tried disconnecting the gauge and reconnecting it hoping to reset it, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
