I have tried a bunch lately and didn't like most. I did like CA's thing and SpamFighter. I am willing to pay, but I would prefer not as a subscription, if that is possible... $30-$50 per year doesn't seem right, but $50 one time does...
Plus, I want it on 2-3 computers, and the price goes up.
Anyone tried BitDefender? Any other good options? |

I used to have bitdefender when it was just AV/firewall. It was decent.
I also used to use SpamBayes. The only reason I do not anymore is because I check my email via my thunderbird installed on my usb drive. After you set it up and it will learn what you like (ham) and don't like (spam).
At work we use GFI MailEssentials which blocks spam using many filters. Bayesian filtering is the best because it learns as you get good and bad email. And ITS FREE!! |
