Make sure you set your ftp client to binary when uploading. Sometimes the simplest things are forgotten. It happens to me sometimes and it's usually because of this. _________________

Yeah, I have seen that, too... but this is a case of pos software that I hate and wish I never started with... Crashes all the time, gets stuck during transfers... Gaah... And even though I tell it to only publish "changed assets", it re-publishes older reviews that haven't changed, and f*'s them up big time. And while I'm ranting, lets not go near they're supposed "customer support"...

Sucks when a program won't work how it should, especially if you paid for it. I just use WS_ftp but it does not have any fancy options like publishing only what's updated and such. _________________

Dreamweaver is my choice for site management. But for pure FTP it's SmartFTP or bust. _________________

Ha, internet explorer doesn't work well... I find it freezes up and you never actually know how much longer the transfer is going to take (no progress bar). As for uploading files to the FTP... you guys just need a FTP software that automatically uploads the pics intelligently in their proper format..... ugghh.... _________________ - Jim |

I used to use IE but I hated the fact that I could not mass copy stuff, it would error out. That and if you get the path wrong or that the server is down, it locks up the whole computer. _________________
