You have to be careful, it seems that unlike a CDR/W and media won't record in any drive. Sad

It means that you can't just go down and buy any DVD+R/-R blank and put it in any DVD recorder. Seems all the media works with the high end models, but you have problems with the "cheapies".

Really sucks cause I was going to go out and get me a cheapie 4x when the 8x came out. Now... I think I'll just go buy one of the top brands (Sony, HP, Plexator, NEC)

My NEC does good with Imation/Memorex disks. However do not try to burn 4x disks on a 2.4x burner. All you get is $$$ down the drain!
