I think gas has come down 30-40 cents by me in the past two weeks... Two places down the street now have regular for $2.37/gallon.

Keep on sliding!!

What is it around you?

<---Started driving just in time for the prices to be jacked up to $3.00, and now that I'm at college and can't drive, they finally fall.

We're at $2.12 here this morning. Iowa has been reported as having the cheapest gas in the nation right now Smile

Wow! I hope that $2.12 comes east! Sad that we're excited about these prices, but considering it was around $3.30 here recently, that is a huge drop.

It was just 8 years ago that I worked down in the port of Elizabeth and since the gas only had to travel a few blocks it was 89 cents a gallon... Bang Head

Actually checking some of the web-sites, it's showing lowest price in my area at $1.89 at one of the Texaco's (updated as of last night).

Another one of the sites is showing most around $2.02

Getting better all the time....

Then again, there's nothing to drive to do in Iowa so that could explain it Razz

One of the most expensive stations in the Bay Area is a Shell station that is EXACTLY 45 FEET from a major Shell Oil refinery.

Location has nothing to do with price.

Well, it seemed odd that once you got up and out of the 'hood' around that area prices went up 30 cents or more at that time. Made no sense otherwise.
