The most appealing thing about the Intel D510MO Mini-ITX motherboard with 1.66GHz Intel Atom dual core processor was that it could be used as the core of a completely silent system. Since the board is passively cooled, you can pick other passively cooled or solid state components for a build that generates absolutely zero noise.

These tiny systems are really cool but I don't get those "Pico" PSU . Some look like the kind for laptops and other devices with a power cord connected to a little box (maybe 2" x 4" ) but some have something that looks like a board with some (very few) components on it and a connector for the cord? Are those for something else?, I can't picture that ATOM CPU using that. What does it use, an ATX type would fill half those little ITX cases, not to mention the heat. _________________ NZXT M59 Case + ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO Mobo + ULTRA X4 500watt PSU = Slowly Getting There 1 Part at a Time..................... #3777 registered user
