I know its still way too much...but like i said....i have plenty of room left to set it up properly... Grin

And sorry but NO....it wasnt measured from the wall power outlet...simply because i also use PSU that has 250% efficiency....so it actually increases wattage by 2.5x.... Laughing Actual power draw from outlet is 2.57W...x2.5....6.42W Grin

Also the measuring device is new....it uses GPS5 positioning system to remotely measure wattage of any device...if you need i can measure your house consumption remotely too...all you need is to ask... Grin Grin Laughing

Can I use your power supply for my (PHEVs). link http://www.calcars.org/ I would then end making fuel with it rather than burning it.

As far as the score is concerned I believe it is by the amount of work done not by the day.

ROTFL Grin Laughing

Calm down guys...you'll all get your energy making PSU's soon...because....Chuck Norris said so.... Laughing

So about scores in F@H, Barracas...as you said...there is no difference whether i finish same WU on same computer in 1 day....or in 10 days? I mean...you're not credited more if you finish faster? It cant be just one fixed amount that you get? Or is it? Confused

Ok nevermind....so far i get 1760points per WU...and i try to finish each under 24hrs. I must say that I am more than pleased with that so far, but i just wanted to know whether i'll get same score (1760 in my case) if i finish this work not in 1 day but in i.e. 5 days? Confused

You're not creditted more per work unit... you just score more points since you're doing more work.

Simply logical...how could i forget that...that i can make twice the work in same time in that case...and score twice more...i simply looked at 1 WU scoring...i surely need to look at things way wider next time. Grin Laughing

Thanks DoctorFeelgood...logic is obviously my weak point. Grin Bang Head Laughing

And here is another question...logical or not...dont know...you be the judges. Grin

Is it possible to setup smp beta client to receive greater amounts of work? I mean something similar to the other client where you can set it to receive work units larger than 5MB's. So is there some switch to be used (or config file to be changed somehow) to get that? I dont believe i noticed that option at installation...and also looking in config file...no option looks like that one...so...is there a way or not? Confused

For the end...I noticed that they already published GPU2 client's information...so i believe its gonna be released soon....any one knows any release dates already? Confused

The SMP client usually gets WUs with 1760 points. I don't think you can get more than that atm. The points on the WU is higher than the usual console client because they are experimental WUs, so require additional processing power and have a higher change of getting an error.

Yes thats what i get...1760 points. So thats max. Wink

I wonder how much will new GPU2 WU's get...probably even more than 1760...and if not...we'll just run both clients...this cpu...and gpu2... Grin King

At the end of a day...who cares about points...as long as our contribution helps finding new cures and lots of other things... Wink

EDIT :
Just wonder whether anyone here already folded project nr. 3060? I ask this because i noticed its way bigger than other projects i worked on so far. While others in majority had 500K steps...and took around 8-9mins to finish 1% (5K steps)....here in this new one - 3060....there are 2M steps...and each 1% (200K steps) takes around 20mins! So 3% per hour...or...100% per 33hours 20mins! Bang Head That's almost twice the time (and only god knows how many points Confused Grin ) the other "500K" projects need to finish). And thats if cpu folds at 100% nonstop! Yikes Grin Crazy Laughing
