XP Pro has more networking capability (connecting the computer to a domain). You can probably get away with WinXP Home.

more networking? wow, i'm big on networking (i got 4 comps on a network and i hold monthly lan parties at my house)

maybe if they emphasize a bit more on networking, but i'd say i'm fine with home

XP pro is much more secure than home, also pro has more support for high-end hardware like raid and multi cpu's

IMHO, both XP distro's are Censored ; too many added features that aren't necessary. But if I had to choose between them, the Pro version has greater flexibilty in regards to networking and hardware.

I'm not too fond of XP either, but I would definately go with Pro.
