Do you get any beep codes? Mother board, CPU, Ram , or video card are all potabilities a beep code might point you in the right direction.

i can't remember what i had set up, but once it beeped twice. every other time, it doesn't beep at all

try reseting all your cards and memory also make sure youdid not grounded out the mb someplace in the case , double check your power leds that they are all on the right pins and right direction (the leads you hook from the CASE to the MOTHERBOARD )

resseting did not help, tried that already. i am 90% sure that the motherboard is not grounded in a place it shouldn't be. I have an OLD case, and the pins for the LEDS are not the same size, so i did not plug them in. i can't. Is this stoping the computer from running? I have heard from other people it might be bad RAM, but then i have also seen other people replace the RAM and it usually wasn't the problem. Bang Head

If you know ppl with other computer parts it might be a good idea to start testing their components in your system (swapping memory is easy... )

Give us a complete list of specs on your system as it stands now... this will help.

Hey,
Thanks for all your guys help, but i found out the mobo was bad! it was DOA, as i found out. i tested my other junk on a buddies and everything else works just fine, don't know why it took me so long to do that. Thanks again
