Recently i signed up for Blockbuster Online unknowingly my wife signed up for Netflix at the same time. Now I had to decide which one to keep. Being the cheap person that i am i was going to go with blockbuster ($14.99 vs $17.99) but i figured that i already paid for them both for a month i might as well check them out.

The first test: i sent all six movies back on the same day (3 from each). three days later i received three movies from Netflix and one from blockbuster. All three movies from netflix were from the top of my que, the one i received from blockbuster was fourth on my que. the other two movies arrived the next day.

The second test: Again i sent all six movies back on the same day (sunday night). On wednesday i received all three movies from netflix, again the first three movies on my que. no movies from blockbuster. on friday i finally received two movies from blockbuster. one of the movies being part two of a set that i haven't seen the first one to yet Bang Head the other movie still hasn't arrived!!

Needless to say i am canceling blockbuster and going with Netflix.

Cool... I was thinking of the Blockbuster deal actually.

And on a similar note, I am about to sign up for the 15 day trial of Napster... Laughing

I have had Netflix for almost a year now and have never had any issues at all with them, I always get my top choice, and get them faster than I thought possible.

Course they are real close to folks on this coast and that may be different if you aren't as close.

I had nextflix for a while, when it first started they sucked, we never got good movies. But they started getting a lot better. We canceled because we just didn't have time to watch enough movies to make it worth it, but their service was great by the time we quit.

I'm sure blockbuster will get better, and the one good thing about them is you can get 2 free movies a month in store.

Putting in my two cents: I like netflix. The turn around time is great as well as the selection of Movies.

Having a 50" LCD HD TV, I like the wide screen version of the movies I rent. Netflix has fit the bill on theat need also. Yeah, I know you cant all movies in wide version, the more the better.
