When I was going to school, it was a log cabin and walked 10 miles each way. Great way to stay in shape.

I went to San Jose City College for 4 years working on a 2 year degree(A.S. CIS-Applications Programming). They kept changing the graduation requirements my first 3 semesters there. I completed every course needed for the degree except one: Oral Communications -AKA- Speech. Tried taking that class 7 times, but dropped out within the first 3 weeks everytime. It was a conspiracy against me, i'm sure. You see, all 3 teachers for that course had gotten together in their evil lair, and decided that if students were gonna take at least 1 University-level course, speech would be it. All 3 taught the class the exact same way, with the exact same workload, but with different books(of cour$e). None of them did any lecturing or examples in-class, instead everyday of the class you had to give a speech, and were expected to read the book and teach yourself how to write speeches at home.

I eventually just gave up.

I joined the military.. went to the school of hard knocks, came out of it with a bad knee, a new respect for our veterans and a headache that still hasn't gone away after 12 years.
