Microsoft is giving a free 20GB upgrade to their SkyDrive product. To get the upgrade go to the URL, login with your Windows Live account and click on "SkyDrive" at the top of the screen. In the left nav area, at the bottom, click on "Manage storage" then select the free 25GB plan!

Looks like you already have to have a Hotmail/SkyDrive account to get this upgrade, but if you do. There it is.

* Security guy warning - Don't trust these cloud based storage with any thing you wouldn't post on the internet. If you put it up there and it needs to be kept secure try using something like TrueCrypt

Well, in some ways they are correct. It's much less likely to get a virus, and because the use some form of SAN/NAS it's unlikely to be lost in a HDD crash.

But then, there are them darn pesky humans that are running the things.... Biggest security liability there is.

I should have made my sarcasm more aparent... I don't trust "the cloud" with anything more than a few shared family photos.
