What is reassuring to me is that *both* buys had similar performance results! Seems pretty consistant.

However I will say this, AMDZone is benching an FX-62! Wink

Both articles are outstanding and making the hair on the back of my neck stand straight up....

It's just not worth the price to buy the FX-62, Your getting the same (if not better) performance out of a conroe chip that's going to cost you half as much.

I agree that conroe is a bit more exciting as it may propel intel in the lead as far as gaming processors go but i cant help but want to stick with amd since they have been the current leaders pluss with how long there 939 stayed around (so that future upgrades were possible without scrapping the motherboard). It should be an interesting couple of months ahead.
