Been trying to clear out my computer room to make an office for the last 4 days.
got about 1/3 of it moved so far.. I've gathered way too much crap.. ...but I know sure as $hit the moment I throw it away, I'll need it. just like the 5.25" floppy I know I pitched awhile back.
still working from this knee buster of a computer desk as of yet, got a cheap O'Sullivan L-Shaped desk from Staples for $99+tax delivered to replace it. A coworker/exgirlfriend is getting me two maple filing cabinets for $10 a piece to go with it.
Once I get things put together, I'll post pics. I really should paint the walls, but that'd involved more work. Besides I like the taste of 50yo lead based paint dust in my coffee. |

I was looking at this desk:
http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaplesProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&productId=142199
The only problem with it is that it wont fit my MGE dragon case in the dock so it is pretty useless to me. I have always just put the computer on a rolling cart off to the side of my desk.
Can anyone suggest a good corner desk that has a flat desktop facing you? I dont like the ones that make you feel like your sitting in the corner of the corner desk....and I also dont like using the KB drawer, i always put the keyboard on the desk. I am looking for an "L" or a corner, with decent storage, and tons of room for my printer, scanner, joystick, telephone... |
